The short version
You can delete your account yourself, from inside the app, at any time — no request or waiting period. Your account, sign-in, and profile are removed immediately. Entries you made in shared groups are kept but anonymized so other members’ balances stay correct.
You can delete your account yourself, from inside the app, at any time. No request or waiting period is needed. This page explains the steps and exactly what happens to your data.
Deletion takes effect immediately once you confirm.
Expenses and settlements you recorded in shared groups are kept but anonymized — they are detached from your identity and show only the display-name snapshot that was on the entry, so the other members’ balances stay correct. If a shared expense simply vanished, everyone else’s math would break. No personal identifiers remain tied to those entries.
Groups you created or administer are handed to another member so the group keeps working, or archived if no other member can take them over. Deleting your account does not delete the shared groups themselves for the people still in them.
Deleting your account does not cancel a Premium subscription.
Subscriptions are billed by Google Play or the Apple App Store, so cancel yours in your Google Play or App Store account settings to stop future charges. See the Terms of Service for how billing and refunds work.
If you can no longer sign in (for example, the app is uninstalled and your Google account is gone), email speeddevelop.dev@gmail.com from the address associated with your account and we will delete it for you.
In-app deletion is immediate. Anonymized group entries remain for the group’s own records, and residual copies in encrypted backups and logs are rotated out within a short period. Questions about deletion? Email speeddevelop.dev@gmail.com. See also our Privacy Policy.
